About Gary Hart
Gary is a Northern California based landscape photographer and writer. He has photographed nature’s beauty—large and small, rain or shine, night and day—for nearly forty years. Gary’s photo workshops in Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, California’s Eastern Sierra, the Columbia River Gorge, Hawaii’s Big Island, and Maui fill many months in advance. Readers return to Gary’s popular blog, www.EloquentNature.com, to enjoy photography anecdotes, tips, and inspirational insights. His book of images paired with classic poetry (Frost, Whitman, Dickinson, and more), “The Undiscovered Country,” was sold at Barnes & Noble stores throughout America (now available exclusively through Gary’s website). Gary’s images and writing are featured frequently in “Outdoor Photographer” and “Sierra Heritage” magazines.
